The Power of the Invitation - Part One

Wednesday, January 27, 2010

Between time, effort, money, and love, a lot goes into a wedding. Of course, you're not alone as the people around you are also anticipating the big day with giddy smiles and held breaths. And so properly preparing your guest list is extremely important! The best way to begin is through Save the Dates and Invitations.

Save the Dates

Save the Date cards are a very important part of the wedding planning process. It is your special day and you want to make sure all of those people that have had an impact on your life, or the both of your lives together, are available to attend.
  •  Save the Dates should go out 6 to 8 months prior to the wedding date. Which comes at the perfect time to get everything in order and keep things organized leading up to the wedding date.
  • In preparing your Save the Dates 6 to 8 months prior to your wedding date, your brand or theme should be decided. This will make decisions regarding the wedding one step simpler from here on out.
  • Once your Save the Dates have been sent, you can be sure of many things:
  • Your guest invite list is set
  • All guests have received fair warning of your special day to come
  • You can move on to the fun, less stressful things, such as Developing the Brand for your Wedding Day with RD I Do!
Now you have heard it from us! We want to hear what you have to say!

Are your ready to send out your Save the Dates?
How would you like them to look?
And best of all, How can RD I Do Help?

How have Save the Dates helped your wedding preparation process?

Why Brand Your Wedding Day?

Friday, January 22, 2010

The short answer is: it’s your day. You can watch all of your dreams come to fruition. We're here to help.

Now, imagine your wedding day. What does it look like? Is there a general theme? Do you see a consistency in color, or even texture? Does it remind you of your very first date? Or does it incorporate an object or place that you two treasure?

Our goal at RD I Do is to brand your day in the way that adds all of those pieces up, whether that be creating a monogram to be used in many areas of your wedding décor, or piecing together matching invitations, save the dates, gifts and accessories that will bring your image of your magical day together.

We have many books FULL of samples at our home, The Old Town Manor, that may give you a new idea, or even embellish one that you have already dreamed up. We realize that your shoulders are loaded with the nuances behind planning, and we can help. Our parent division, Rizzi Designs, Creative Studio & Strategic Marketing can step in and help you chip away at that mountain of stuff you have to take care of.

Branding your Wedding with Rizzi Designs will make it easier for you and your fiance to spend less time worrying and more time anticipating the big day. Rizzi Designs will go beyond the catalogue to make every little detail you wish for come true.

The possibilities with Rizzi Design are endless. Check out some of our samples at RDBrides.com
