A Google images search of “1950’s inspired weddings” yields lots of cherry red, but also aqua, lemon yellow, bold green, pink and purple. Colors for an oriental wedding are typically red and yellow. Be careful with which colors you choose because white by itself is not appropriate. You can however, use white with other colors such as pink or red.
