It's Wedding Season: Explore Beyond the Usual Spring Palettes

Tuesday, May 10, 2011

As May kicks off another spring wedding season, many brides are checking off those personal touches and decorative elements for the Big Day. These are the details your guests remember and are what truly set your day apart from all the other weddings. The consultants at RD I Do aim to set your wedding apart (on any budget!) and will help shape the start of your Happily Ever After into the fabulous, memorable event it deserves to be! From invitations and personally-designed logos to table settings and favors, we want to design the perfect wedding for you and your guests.

Spring weddings are often laced in pastels or bold and vibrant colors that correlate with the flowers popping up all around us. Brides who hope to present a bolder or even a more subtle palette for their late summer/early fall wedding or those For those who refuse to let the time of year dictate the decor should explore some of the unique and custom color combinations to express yourself as a couple.

These custom invitations include an arrangement of moss green, deep chocolate brown, and warm cornflower blue which emulates the softer side of spring time hues and is designed to reflect a modern vintage appeal. These colors could be incorporated into all considerations of wedding design such as accessories, gifts, and favors to create a romantic, unique, and custom approach to traditional springtime wedding shades. The pastel yellow in these custom invitations provides a set-apart design to announce your Big Day. They still incorporate the beautiful shade of a popular springy yellow, yet it is contrasted with a more subtle shade of a deep gray and accented with ivory. The "cosmopolitan floral" design triggers the classic sentiment of spring time love, while still adhering to a modern, chic design. (Available through RD I Do)
